fall days in the garden - oct 2021

Oh, yes. The mild days and cool nights are upon us, as daylight softens and nighttime sparkles with a million stars! This is one of my favorite times of year in the garden! The tomatoes are ripening to juicy perfection, the dahlias and roses are smiling in sunny coolness (finally!) and the salvias are bursting with a final splash of wild fall color! The symphony has reached its crescendo and the melody is sweet and high. It is autumn bliss here in the garden, and how lucky are we to see, feel and taste it all...
