My wish this year is a Planet of Peace. And, as always, the garden leads the way. Today I walked by the hummingbird feeder and glanced at the honeybees that are often there, feasting on sugar water. And today they were joined by Yellow Jacket wasps, often seen as an aggressor towards honeybees. But not today. Not in the garden. Today they are feasting at the feeder in peace ... Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
With much love, Marianne

We've had a spectacular fall this year with an abundance of sunshine and many windless days. After having endured a hot, smokey summer, the beautiful weather has been such a joy, especially for the garden! Flowers are abundant in the cooler days while the green leafy vegetables are tender and sweet, happily growing under an autumn sun. Winter will be here soon enough, so we'll enjoy these final fall days in the garden. And for now, life is good...
