Fall Days...October 2020

We are beginning our journey into the gathering season of fall. It is time to harvest our final garden goodies and store them away for the winter season. They will nourish us through the cold days ahead. We also gather the falling leaves and tuck them around the base of our plants and trees, preparing them for a good night's sleep.

The garden is full of Praying Mantis this time of year. They are full-bellied and ripe with eggs, waiting patiently among the flowers for an insect to land close by. They are feeding next year's brood so they try to catch as much as they can before their season is over. The Mantis is a lesson in stillness, knowing that what she needs will come in time, she just needs to be still and wait and it will come.

Like the Mantis, we too can enter the stillness. October Days are the perfect time to dream and see what we can create for our future. Lets make it Golden...

September needs no words. We're in the midst of a global awakening and right now it's a wild ride. The word is CHANGE, and we and the Earth are changing. The Weather Devas are doing their job of cleansing, clearing and balancing, and sometimes it's hard. This is the time to send love and light to wherever it's needed; a gentle touch from the heart. Here in the garden the food is plentiful and we are forever grateful. Blessings and love to all of you as we ride these times together...
