Basil pesto for june
Marianne's delicious basil pesto:
1/3 cup pine nuts
3 cups basil
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
Toast pine nuts in a dry skillet; let cool. Pulse in the food processor.
Add chopped basil, garlic, and salt; then pulse.
Add Parmesan cheese and pulse.
Slowly pulse in the Olive Oil. Enjoy!
