Welcome to August and the Lions Gate Portal, which completes on August 8th. With this passage, we will move through the most intensive Portal of Light we have ever experienced as humans in a physical body. The Earth is experiencing the same and we are all expanding with the Light. We are birthing our world from the density of a 3D Matrix into the brilliance of 5D! Hang in there everybody, as it's a wild ride to get there! And the Garden of Eden awaits us...

Welcome to July! Now that the fresh green of Spring has passed, we find ourselves in the midst of summer. Summer means heat and that's what brings the next wave of garden blooms! The daylilies, gladiolus, dahlias and zinnias are popping in a rainbow of colors and the fruit on the trees are ripening to a sweet perfection. And, not to be topped, the veggies are growing too with vines full of ripening tomatoes, pepper plants bursting with colorful fruit, and basil leaves ready for summer pesto. It's a glorious time in the garden and we are forever grateful. Have a beautiful July everybody! See you in the garden...
As we celebrate the "day of the flowers", it's a good time to reflect on the marvelous array of beauty that surrounds us. Flowers are everywhere and they are simply amazing! With colors and patterns and scents designed to attract their pollinators, they are a marvel of creation. I'm reminded of a quote by Iris Murdoch that says it perfectly, "People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us!"
Happy May Day to all of you as we celebrate the Flowers, the Faeries and the beauty that surrounds us! Today is the first day of March and the Daffodils and Crocus are dancing in the sunshine! In fact, the Crocus petals look like beautiful skirts of brightly colored satin and I can just see the Flower Faeries wrapping themselves in the petals and swirling about the garden! We're celebrating the longer warmer days as we dance into spring. Let the flower parade begin...
Today marks the cross quarter day between winter and spring in the Northern Hemisphere. The daylight is lasting a bit longer each day, and the animals, especially the birds, are noticeably moving about and singing or squawking more. Our resident Red Shouldered Hawks are circling and calling above the house every morning now. They're giving us the first hint that spring is indeed coming, and they'll be busy with nest building soon. In the garden, the spring bulbs are just beginning to peek their little green heads out from their cozy beds. Each year they delight us-and the bees-with the first splash of garden color, and we are forever grateful! Our beautiful Earth is turning her face towards the Sun once again and, as gardeners, we are ready! In the Celtic tradition, they called this day "Imbolc", meaning "in the belly". We are moving from the belly of winter into the beauty of spring! May you all have a wonderful day, as we celebrate the return of the light. Blessed be!
The New Year has arrived, ripe with the potential for an amazing year full of creativity and New Life! We recently received the crystalline blessing of snow here in the high desert, and we are so grateful! Beautiful white, cleansing crystals of light. The perfect gift from the Devas, and now we are fresh, clean and new. Our Garden Portal was shining in her white beauty! May this be an amazing year for all of us! Many blessings in 2021!!
It's now December, the completion of 2020, the year of clarity and 20/20 vision. And what a year it has been! The light is pouring onto the Planet, while the dark is scrambling, kind of like bugs in the dark when the flashlight beam hits them. And, my oh my, do they scramble! And it's not over yet! Here in the gardens, the harvest is in and we're spending nights by the fire shucking beans. And, like everything else in 2020, bringing those precious beans to fruition this year has been a challenge! The spring frosts almost froze them, the relentless summer heat nearly fried them, the blanket of heavy smoke in late summer nearly choked them and then the grand finale of an early frost almost took them down! We had to make the herculean effort in a relentless cold wind to cover their 8 to 10 ft. vines with sheets, tarps and frost cloth, And the ripening beans were saved! And now we're shucking our beautiful beans after this year of adversity-what a gift they are! On the same note, here we are at the end of 2020, feeling just like those beans. Each new challenge has forced us to change, to grow and to evolve. It is deep soul work on the Planet right now and that's never easy. The fight between dark and light has been fierce and we've each had to stretch and find-and then live-our own truth. Many have been pulled out of the lives they knew, their souls placing them where their souls wanted to be. It's been an intense passage.
During the month of December, as we wind our way towards the darkest night at Solstice (which happens to be a time when we will be flooded by new sources of light, all divinely orchestrated!), we can look back at the year and find the gifts of awakening that we've received through the challenges. We now experience the blessings of an expanded soul and the beginning of our Planet's awakening. It has been one tough year, no doubt about it, but we've made it through. And no matter how it looks on the surface, our souls are shining their bright light. Just like those beans! It's the season of Fall where I live, and after such a tumultuous year, I am happy to say that I have not only survived but somehow thrived through the events that became 2020. It has not been an easy time for any of us of course, but, my oh my, the personal growth has been tremendous. And it just keeps going!
Our gardens have experienced a rough and also remarkable year as well! Relentless heat waves in the Valley have been the key player, even into Fall, and all hands have been on deck for this one! Through the diligence of my husband and I, along with the support of all the Nature Beings of the Land, the garden has continued to shine. It just took a lot more trust and patience in the process along with bucket loads of love and light! The month of November will also be a tricky one, both in and out of the garden, as Nature's deep cleansing weather patterns will ramp up to the end of the year. And in this country we have a polarized election process going on as well, offering us the view of a broken system playing out in 3D glory! But, of course, the only way out is through, and we have to see it to heal it, and so we shall. I wish for all of you to have a blessed Fall season and that you may enjoy the final days of your garden shine. It will be the resting season soon... |
